Be Kind…ALWAYS

One truth every lover of good shoes know is that the cuter the shoe looks on you, the more painful it is. But to the bystander or friend who compliments you, all they see is beauty, they do not see the perfectly concealed pain beneath that beauty.

So, just like the wearer of a great shoe shows no visible sign of discomfort or pain, so do people do every day.

Never think what you are going through is the worst of it, everyone goes through their dark days, some darker than the others.

Never be cruel or nasty to another, don’t hide under the excuse that you are going through a lot, just maybe they are going through a lot more.

Never assume that everyone’s smile is genuine, the smile may just be a façade…beneath it could lie a world of pain buried so deep within.

A lot of us walk around with our pains invisible…you can’t see it. It is just like a bruised body hidden beneath a beautiful outfit. Just because you can’t see something, does not mean it is not there. If only they would remove the cloth…

Be as kind as you can be…but be careful of those who take undue advantage of other’s kindness…don’t be taken for a fool…

Never forget that everyone is going through a battle you know nothing about…be kind…always.

Always remember that hidden behind those cute shoes you just complimented are tired feet full of blisters…

  1. while I don't agree with the "truth" that every good shoe goes with some discomfort...I quite agree with your overall point about we should learn to be thoughtful of others as many are worse-off than we are. I think this 'thoughtfulness' thingy or empathy is what marks human persons out from brute beasts....
    I missed your posts here.
